Jesus & the pirates

In primary during singing time a few weeks ago the chorister asked the children if they knew who was in the boat with Jesus in this picture. Callie was quick to tell everyone that it was the pirates & then told everyone about Jack Sparrow!

I promise we haven't let our children see Pirates of the Caribbean! Jackson LOVES pirates & we call him Captain Jack a lot & sometimes we call him Capt. Jack Sparrow, so Callie was already familiar with the name when we went on the Pirates ride at Disneyland & pointed out Jack Sparrow to her. Anyway, I thought it was pretty funny!

oh my gosh i love callie's perception. she's definitely NOT shy about sharing her thoughts....where'd she learn that from?

oh, and ryan said, who cares if she's seen Pirates of the Carribean....yeah, if we ever have kids he's not allowed to take them to movies...

That is hilarious. I bet the teachers were thinking, what are they teaching this child at FHE. That is great.
